It carried an article titled "Peerless Patriot and Benefactor of National Liberation" together with a photo of President Kim Il Sung.

It said that no matter how much water may flow under the bridge, President Kim Il Sung's feats in liberating the country are shining brilliantly.

Korea's liberation opened up a way for the Korean people to make progress independently as the masters of their own destiny for the first time in the 5 000-year-long history, it noted, adding that after the liberation, the first democratic election took place and the democratic reforms including the agrarian one were successfully enforced in Korea in a short time.

It concluded that it is thanks to the President that the cause of liberating the country was accomplished and that the DPRK could emerge a politically and ideologically strong country, a military power and a strategic state which is recognized by the world.
