He said the 70th birthday of the DPRK will be greeted as a great auspicious day at a historical time when the new heyday of prosperity has been ushered in under the guidance of the respected Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un.

One of the tasks of the innovative movement is to demonstrate high political enthusiasm and unity of compatriots through the great chorus "Song of the Proclamation of the People's Republic" to be attended by Chongryon officials and Koreans in Tokyo in the art performance at the national meeting celebrating the 70th birthday of the DPRK, he noted.

He underlined the need to bring about the hot wind of study in praise of the great men, decisively raise the function and role of the organizations of various levels, adding the headquarters should fully discharge its responsibility and role as a regional guidance unit in the movement of the Koreans in Japan.

Others who took the floor expressed their resolution to turn out with readiness in the innovative movement to be staged in the stirring period when the final victory is to be achieved and to devotedly work for the Koreans in Japan.

Chairman Ko Tok U referred to the idea of the congratulatory message sent by the respected Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un and the importance of the innovative movement.

He said the innovative movement is the first step toward the new phase and the first struggle for bringing about overall prosperity in the movement of the Koreans in Japan in line with the milestone set by Kim Jong Un.

He called for glorifying the venue of the grand festival in September with high enthusiasm and big successes in work by making a turn in the work style of the officials as required by the new era and mobilizing all organizations through the innovative movement.
