Academic Degrees of DPRK Conferred on Korean Educationists in Japan

| Pyongyang, August 6 (KCNA) -- Academic degrees of the DPRK were conferred on educationists of the Korean University under the General Association of Korean Residents in Japan (Chongryon). Doctor's degree in linguistics went to Vice Faculty Dean Ho Chol, Master's degree in biology to Department Head Ri Kyong Su and Master's degree in mathematics to teacher Jang Song Gon. They have contributed to national education and scientific development of Chongryon, always holding President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il in high esteem as the sun of Juche and remaining true to the guidance of the respected Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un. An awarding ceremony was held at the Mansudae Assembly Hall on Monday. |
