Deep Attention Paid to Health Protection in DPRK
Pyongyang, August 8 (KCNA) -- The medical institutions at all levels in the DPRK are paying deep attention to the protection of people's health against the sultry weather lingering in the wake of severe high temperature.

They have conducted propaganda activities with newly-prepared hygienic lecture plan to prevent damage by the swelter among people.

And they have informed people of common knowledge, helpful to preventing the occurrence of diseases like sunstroke, and folk remedies through mass media.

The hospitals and clinics in Pyongyang and other parts of the country have fully secured medicines for circulatory and cerebral diseases which are of high incidence in sultry weather.

Medical workers active at construction sites and co-op farms are doing their best to help fieldworkers be safe from damage by heat wave.

Meanwhile, the hygienic and anti-epidemic institutions have tightened their supervision and control over the public catering facilities and soft drink stalls.
