LKP of South Korea Blamed for Pollution

Pyongyang, August 10 (KCNA) -- The Taegu Environment Movement Association in a statement on August 3 urged the Taegu City assembly members from the "Liberal Korea Party" to make an apology for environmental pollution, according to the south Korean online newspaper Voice of Seoul.

Recalling that the assembly members called for removing the reservoir of the city and urged the minister of Environment to apologize for turning it down, the statement termed their demand an impudent act.

Noting the removal of the city's reservoir is unreasonable, the statement said the city assembly members from the LKP are obliged to apologize to the citizens for the sins committed by the LKP in the past before talking about the removal of the city's reservoir.
