The message extended congratulations to the people of the fraternal DPRK on behalf of the Venezuelan people, government and president on the occasion of July 27, 2018, marking the 65th anniversary of the victory of the Fatherland Liberation War, an auspicious event of world-historic significance in the history of anti-imperialist struggle.

The popular day of celebration will be an important occasion in displaying the two countries' intention to further strengthen the friendly ties between them and through the process it will promote the development, wellbeing and prosperity of the two peoples, the message said.

It noted that the day will also serve as an important occasion to demonstrate the will to continue the struggle to achieve peace and harmony between nations, common great goals, and to defend the sovereign right and right to self-determination of the people and consolidate the building of a multi-polar world free from the imperialists' moves for domination.

It extended warm greeting to HE Kim Jong Un, expressing noble homage to the heroes of the Fatherland Liberation War and the brave, dignified people of the DPRK.
