President Kim Il Sung Lauded by Swiss Bodies

| Pyongyang, August 13 (KCNA) -- The Swiss Organizing Committee of the International Festival in Praise of the Great Persons of Mt Paektu, the Switzerland-Korea Committee and the Swiss Group for the Study of the Juche Idea made public a joint statement on Aug. 4 to mark the 73rd anniversary of Korea's liberation. The statement said the Korean People's Revolutionary Army led by President Kim Il Sung liberated Korea from the colonial rule of the Japanese imperialists on Aug. 15, 1945 and thus the Korean nation was reborn. It went on: The Democratic People's Republic of Korea was founded and able to emerge as a full-fledged independent and sovereign state on the global stage. The Korean people highly praised President Kim Il Sung as the sun of the nation as he brought about Korea's freedom and independence. Korea's liberation became a precious example of the national liberation struggle in colonies. President Kim Il Sung enjoyed boundless reverence from progressive mankind. The Juche idea founded by him rapidly spread to many countries and regions. We extend glory to the great President Kim Il Sung, the benevolent liberator of Korea. |
