DPRK Students Prove Successful at International Program Contest

| Pyongyang, August 13 (KCNA) -- A student of Kim Il Sung University in the DPRK took the first place at the Codechef Internet program contest again, which comes to be the 19th victory in the contest won by the students of the university since 2013. This year, students of Kim Il Sung University won the contest for three times. At the contest held on July 6-16 with the attendance of over 6500 rivals from 80-odd countries like China, Russia, India and UK, Ri Myong Hyok got 800 points, the highest mark, overcoming his Belarusian rival who won the contest several times. The achievements made by the DPRK students at international intellectual contests are a clear manifestation of the advantages and vitality of the socialist education system. |
