President Kim Il Sung's Exploits Praised Abroad
Pyongyang, August 14 (KCNA) -- Foreign media carried special write-ups with photos of President Kim Il Sung and art pieces depicting him ahead of the 73rd anniversary of Korea's liberation.

The Russian newspaper Nakhodkinski Rabochi on Aug. 2 said in an article titled "Korea's liberation-watershed of history":

Comrade Kim Il Sung led to victory the fierce anti-Japanese war, thus achieving the historic cause of national liberation and then founded the Workers' Party of Korea straight away.

Aug. 15, 1945 became a watershed of history for the Korean people.

The Brazilian Center for the Study of Songun Politics posted an article titled "The great leader who led the anti-Japanese revolutionary struggle to victory" in its website on Aug. 5. The article said President Kim Il Sung's exploits for national liberation is shining more brilliantly as he liberated the country by waging a prolonged guerrilla war against a strong enemy under harsh conditions with neither state-backing nor assistance by a regular army.

DR Congolese newspaper L'Avenir on Aug. 6 dedicated a whole page to an article titled "President Kim Il Sung and history of anti-Japanese war" praising the President's exploits for national liberation.
