Minju Joson on Japan's Reckless Military Moves

Pyongyang, August 14 (KCNA) -- According to foreign media, Japan seeks to introduce and deploy the global hawk reconnaissance drone from 2021. The Japan "Self-Defense Forces" are reportedly to plan to found a joint unit of 150 persons for this purpose. Meanwhile, Japan schemes to purchase earlier the ground deployment interceptor missile shield Aegis Ashore with a lot of fund. It is setting afloat unreasonable rumors that those military moves are for "coping with possible military attack" from the DPRK. In this regard, Minju Joson Tuesday says in a commentary: Big powers around Japan share the view that the "story of threat from north Korea" advertised by Japan as a pretext for cure-all is a camouflage to cover up its black mind. The ultra-modern military hardware, whose introduction and deployment are being accelerated by Japan, goes far beyond its needs for defence in performance. The earlier purchase of the U.S.-made Aegis Ashore whose price reaches astronomical amounts reveals the sinister intention to hold in check the strategic forces of not only the DPRK but also China and Russia. The target of Japan pushing ahead with moves for overseas aggression is vast continent beyond the Korean peninsula. Japan had already invaded not a few countries including Korea. To deter the reckless military moves of Japan, a war criminal state, is not for the security interests of one or two countries, but for peace and security all over the region. |
