Vasile Orleanu, chairman of the Supreme Council of the National Socialist Party of Romania and chairman of the Romanian National Committee for the Study of the Juche Idea, was elected as chairman of the preparatory committee.

The preparatory committee decided to hold colorful political and cultural events in praise of the exploits of the peerlessly great persons for the founding and development of the DPRK.
