S. Koreans Call for Settlement of Ssangryong Motors Issue

Pyongyang, August 15 (KCNA) -- The All-People Measure Committee for Ssangryong Motors in south Korea held a press conference in Seoul on August 7 and declared the launch of its campaign for the settlement of the Ssangryong Motors issue, according to the south Korean internet newspaper Chamsesang.

Speakers there blamed the present authorities for not taking a step for settling the issue.

They said they would host an all-people meeting on August 18 to have all the sacked workers of the Ssangryong Motors reinstated.

Noting the Ssangryong Motors issue is the one for probing crimes against the workers, they said the present regime should take the lead in probing the truth.

Recalling the recently revealed fact about the use of soporific gas by the Ssangryong Motors management side against the workers in collusion with the police, they called for probing the truth behind it.
