The Palestinian president in the message said that he is pleased to extend sincere and warm congratulations to Kim Jong Un and, through him, to the government and friendly people of the DPRK on behalf of the State of Palestine and its people and on his own behalf on the liberation day when the Korean people devoted valuable sacrifices to the freedom and dignity.

It went on:

We regard as pride the historic relations of friendship between our two peoples and the fact that you have always extended unshakable support and solidarity to the Palestinian people in the struggle for terminating the occupation and building an independent state with East Kuds as its capital.

We extend congratulations to Your Excellency once again, wishing Your Excellency good health and happiness, and your country and people greater progress and prosperity.
