H. Jacobsen, member of the Leadership of the Central Committee of the Communist Party in Denmark, and Anders Kristensen, chairman of the Denmark-DPRK Friendship Association, were elected as co-chairmen of the preparatory committee.

The preparatory committee decided to hold colorful political and cultural events to mark the 70th founding anniversary of the DPRK.
