DPRK Birthday to Be Marked in Congo

| Pyongyang, August 17 (KCNA) -- A Congolese preparatory committee for celebrating the 70th birthday of the DPRK was formed in Brazzaville on August 10. Vital Balla, chairman of the Congolese Association for Friendship among Peoples, was elected as chairman of the preparatory committee. The preparatory committee set a celebration period from Aug. 10 to Sep. 10 and decided to hold colorful political and cultural events, including celebration meeting, lecture meeting and film show. |
