Japanese Reactionaries' Don Quixote-style Way of Thinking under Fire
|
|
Pyongyang, August 18 (KCNA) -- Japanese Foreign Minister Kono at the recent ministerial meeting of the ASEAN Regional Forum talked rubbish that it is needed to keep sanctions on the DPRK for its complete denuclearization and block its attempt to evade sanctions, adding Japan would actively cooperate in doing so. When meeting a high-ranking UN official who visited Nagasaki, he said sanctions should be continuously slapped against the DPRK and every country should honestly carry out the sanctions resolution. Rodong Sinmun in a commentary Saturday terms this a Don Quixote-style way of thinking. The commentary goes on: Now Russia, China and many other countries are strongly demanding that the sanctions on the DPRK should be lifted as the statue of limitations ran out. Only Japan is blustering as if it has faced a big disaster. It is working hard to check the trend of the times going favorably. Now it is resorting to clumsy solicitation diplomacy, going here and there with the issues of sanctions and abduction to ask other countries to put pressure on the DPRK. What did Japan get from that ill behavior? It has been left alone in the region, being branded as a country of pigmy politicians engaged in abnormal view on things and phenomena, anachronistic thought and stupid and unbecoming conduct. Japan will be left alone forever as a lonely island country if it persistently behaves like Don Quixote. |
