Korea's Liberation Day Marked in Czech Republic

| Pyongyang, August 19 (KCNA) -- We hope that the Korean people would firmly defend the country's sovereignty and achieve bigger success in socialist construction under the wise guidance of the Workers' Party of Korea led by respected Comrade Kim Jong Un. The Paektusan Czech-Korean Friendship Association said this in a statement titled "Congratulations on the day of Korea's liberation" on Aug. 14. The statement went on: On the occasion of Aug. 15 we are recollecting the exploits of the great leader Comrade Kim Il Sung, who waged the 20-year revolutionary struggle against the Japanese militarists to liberate the country and led the DPRK only to victory and glory. We pay homage to the Korean revolutionaries who sacrificed themselves for the liberation of their country. |
