The statement said that the solution to the issue of the sexual slavery for the imperial Japanese army is a way for eradicating wartime sexual violence worldwide and ensuring peace.

On the same day, solidarity meetings took place in 43 places of ten countries to disclose and denounce the sexual slavery committed by Japan in the past.
