Attending it were officials, teachers, researchers and postgraduates of various units including Kim Il Sung University, Hamhung University of Chemical Engineering, the Ministry of Chemical Industry, the Hamhung Branch of the State Academy of Sciences and the Namhung Youth Chemical Complex.

Presented to it, divided into panels of C-1 chemical industry, phosphate fertilizer, catalyzer and rare-earth application technology, were more than 100 valuable papers conducive to putting the chemical industry field on a higher level.

During the presentation, its participants conducted exchange activities for generalizing the successes and experience gained in putting the chemical industry on a Juche and modern basis.
