Attending it were researchers, teachers, technicians and field officials in scientific, educational and textile industrial fields including the Textile Institute of the Management Bureau for the Textile, Pyongyang Han Tok Su University of Light Industry, the Pyongyang Kim Jong Suk Textile Mill and the Sariwon Textile Mill.

Introduced there were over 40 valuable papers showing the achievements made in the efforts for remodeling the equipment and production processes of textile mills with labor- and electricity-saving ones and producing quality textile goods with indigenous raw and other materials.

During the presentation, there was also a lecture on the usage of PP fiber.
