DPRK Players Win Gold Medals in 18th Asian Games

| Pyongyang, August 25 (KCNA) -- DPRK players Kim Hyo Sim and Kim Su Jong won gold medals respectively in women's weightlifting and floor exercises of women's individual apparatus finals of artistic gymnastics of the 18th Asian Games on Friday. Kim Hyo Sim lifted 113 kg in snatch and 137 kg in jerk, 250 kg in total in the women's weightlifting 63 kg category to win. Kim Su Jong took first place in the floor exercises of women's individual apparatus finals, second in balance beam, snatching gold and silver medals. In addition, Choe Hyo Sim and Pak Myong Won respectively took second place in women's weightlifting 63 kg category and men's 10 meter running target shooting event and Jon Myong Song third in men's weightlifting 85 kg category. |
