Swiss Bodies Issue Joint Statement to Mark Day of Songun

| Pyongyang, August 26 (KCNA) -- The Swiss Organizing Committee of the International Festival in Praise of the Great Persons of Mt Paektu, the Switzerland-Korea Committee and the Swiss Group for the Study of the Juche Idea released a joint statement on Aug. 11 on the occasion of the 58th anniversary of leader Kim Jong Il's start of the Songun revolutionary leadership. The statement said that his start of Songun revolutionary leadership was a historic event - a new milestone of the Korean revolution. Under his leadership the Songun politics was formulated as a main socialist political mode and the power of the DPRK was remarkably increased, the statement noted. It concluded that the respected Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un visited the Seoul Ryu Kyong Su Guards 105th Tank Division of the Korean People's Army honored with the title of O Jung Hup-led 7th Regiment on the first day of 2012 and thus expressed the will to carry forward the idea and cause of Kim Jong Il. |
