DPRK Wins Gold Medal at 18th Asian Games

| Pyongyang, August 27 (KCNA) -- Rim Jong Sim, wrestler of the DPRK, won a gold medal in the women's weightlifting event of the 18th Asian Games. She placed first in the women's weightlifting 75kg category held on August 26, lifting 116kg in snatch and 147kg in jerk, 263 kg in total, 26kg heavier than the second player. Meanwhile, DPRK player Kim Hye Song placed third in the women's marathon event. |
