Art Performance Marks Youth Day
Pyongyang, August 27 (KCNA) -- The art squad of the Central Committee of the Youth League gave an art performance at the Central Youth Hall Monday to mark the Youth Day.

The performance began with a prelude "We Are Successors to Revolution."

The numbers on the program included mixed duet and chorus "We Will Carry Forward", poem-reciting and chorus "Golden Cushion" and male solo "Voice of My Heart".

Performers showed the reverence for President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il, who trained the Korean youth to be brave generals for the accomplishment of the revolutionary cause of Juche and built a youth power without an equal in the world, and the trust in the respected Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un who is ushering in the greatest heyday in the Korean youth movement.

Put on the stage were the numbers showing the militant stamina and optimism of the Korean youth who are creating new legendary tales about heroic youth in every construction site of building an economic power, carrying forward the tradition that the youth have created history of miracles and feats in every year of revolution.

There were also numbers representing the pledge of faith of five million youth vanguard.

Among the audience were Choe Hwi, vice-chairman of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea; Pak Chol Min, first secretary of the C.C., the youth league; officials of the youth league, teachers and students of Mangyongdae Revolutionary School and Kang Pan Sok Revolutionary School, youth and students in the city.
