At a seminar in Uganda, speakers lauded the feats of President Kim Il Sung for nation-building, saying that he founded the DPRK and turned it into a people's country in which the Juche idea is thoroughly applied.

Meanwhile, the Dagestan Association for the Study of the Juche Idea and Songun Policy of Russia gave a lecture on Aug. 14 to mark the 73rd anniversary of Korea's liberation. The lecture dealt with the exploits of Kim Il Sung, who led the anti-Japanese war to victory and thus accomplished the historic cause of national liberation.
