DPRK's Founding Anniversary to Be Marked in Germany

| Pyongyang, August 28 (KCNA) -- A preparatory committee for celebrating the 70th founding anniversary of the DPRK was formed by the German Group for the Study of Korean Culture on Aug. 20. Manfred Schneider, chief of the group, was elected as chairman of the preparatory committee. The committee decided to hold various political and cultural events such as a seminar, film show and photo exhibition in praise of the exploits performed by President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il in founding and developing the DPRK in the period from Aug. 20 to Sept. 9. |
