Present there were Sim Yong Hak, chairman of the Central Committee of the Architects Union of Korea, officials concerned, architects and construction technicians in Pyongyang, a visiting delegation of the Architectural Society of China, and staff members of the Chinese embassy here.

Speakers there expressed conviction that the exhibition would contribute to boosting exchange and cooperation in the field of architecture between the two countries and achieving new successes in architectural creation.

The participants looked round the photos dealing with the architectural development of China including buildings reflecting the Chinese people's national traditions and aspiration and multi-purpose buildings of the latest world fashion.

The exhibition will last until August 30.
