The WPK has led the Korean people wisely to the road of independence and socialism, bearing the responsibility for the destinies of the people, the revolution and the country, and also creditably fulfilled its mission, taking upon itself the responsibility for the destiny of the human cause of independence, the world socialist movement, the article notes, and goes on:

Socialism collapsed without any gunfire in several countries in the late 1980s or the early 1990s - a tragic situation - due to the moves of the imperialists and the socialist renegades.

Availing themselves of the chaos in the world socialist movement, the imperialist reactionary forces described much "the end" of socialism as inevitable in history, directing the spearhead of invasion and suffocation to the DPRK.

No progressive political party, politician and theorist delivered a telling blow at sophism of the reactionaries of history and advanced a scientific opinion on socialism.

Only President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il, who founded and guided the WPK, could decisively smash sophism of the enemies and instill the scientific accuracy of socialism and the inevitability of its victory into the world progressives.

In the course of rigorous yet sacred struggle, the WPK fully demonstrated before the whole world that it is the guide of the popular masses' cause of independence, the socialist cause.
