CPRC Chairman Meets Ambassadors of ASEAN Countries to DPRK

| Pyongyang, August 29 (KCNA) -- Ri Son Gwon, chairman of the Committee for the Peaceful Reunification of the Country of the DPRK, met Lao Ambassador Phonekham Inthaboualy, chairman of the ASEAN Committee in the DPRK, Indonesian Ambassador Bambang Hiendrasto, Vietnamese Ambassador Pham Viet Hung and Cambodian Ambassador Sin Bunthoeurn who paid a courtesy call on him at the Mansudae Assembly Hall on Wednesday to mark the 18th anniversary of the June 15 North-South joint declaration. He stated that Kim Jong Un, chairman of the State Affairs Commission of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, ushered in a fresh heyday of the national reunification movement through his energetic activities. Referring to the friendly and cooperative relations between the DPRK and member states of the ASEAN Committee in the DPRK, he expressed the expectation that the ambassadors of the relevant countries would extend unsparing support to the DPRK's cause of national reunification. |
