Kong Sam Ol, deputy prime minister for Royal Palace, was elected as chairman of the preparatory committee under the authorization of Cambodian King Norodom Sihamoni.

The committee set a celebration period from Aug. 25 to Sept. 15 and decided to give wide publicity to the exploits of President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il and personality of the respected Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un as an illustrious great man through media and organize various political and cultural events in the period.
