In the message the Syrian president said that he was very pleased to extend sincere congratulations to Kim Jong Un and the people of the DPRK on behalf of the Syrian Arab people and on his own behalf on the occasion of the 70th founding anniversary of the DPRK, its national holiday, wishing Kim Jong Un good health and happiness and the friendly people of the DPRK bigger progress and prosperity.

The message affirmed the will to strengthen the friendly and cooperative relations between the two countries in conformity with the interests and well-being of the peoples of the two friendly countries.
