At the time when the global socialist movement was in a state of chaos, we defended socialism without a slight vacillation and the DPRK became a country with high dignity and international authority as today. It's because we have constantly pursued politics of independence.

We have firmly established a political backbone and never read other's face and allow the others to meddle in our affairs. We fixed all policies to meet the specific features of our country and the interests and demands of our people and then we implemented them by ourselves as the master. When the modern revisionists tried to hammer their policies to us, we flatly refused it. No pressure will work on our people.

We have the great leader, great party and great people.

That's why we had no reason to look up to others or beg for help and, besides, to accept others' order and pressure.

The practical experience of our revolution and the review of the 70-year history of our Republic verify that independence is the life and future of a country and a nation and upholding high the banner of independence is a guarantee of the victory of the human cause of independence.
