President Kim Il Sung had rallied all the people in one ideology and will and with love and affection for the first time in the national history spanning five thousand years to accomplish the historic cause of building the party, army and state and thus laid a firm foundation for building a thriving country.

And he led the army and people of the young DPRK to defeat the invasion of imperialist allied forces and build a socialist country, independent in politics, self-supporting in the economy and self-reliant in defence, in a short span of time.

Chairman Kim Jong Il had reliably carried forward the cause of building the powerful country of Juche pioneered by the President, regarding the single-minded unity as the mainstay for the revolution during the whole course of his revolutionary leadership.

He thoroughly established the leader's monolithic ideological and leadership system throughout the whole party and society and formed the integral whole of the leader, the Party and the masses with warm comradely love and trust.

Thanks to the single-minded unity of the party and the revolutionary ranks, the Korean people could have brought about the heyday in the era of the Workers' Party and won victories one after another in the struggle for defending socialism.

After putting forward the people-first principle as the mode of existence and principle of activities of the party and the state, Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un saw to it that top priority and absoluteness should be given to the desire and interests of people, and thus further consolidated the single-minded unity, the strongest weapon of the DPRK provided by President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il, into an invulnerable fortress capable of withstanding any upheaval.

The single-minded unity of the army and people forming a thousand-fold, tens-of-thousand-fold fortress around the Supreme Leader serves as the main source of the might of Juche Korea.
