Ju Kyu Chang Dies

Pyongyang, September 4 (KCNA) -- Academician, Prof. and Dr. Ju Kyu Chang, alternate member of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK), deputy to the DPRK Supreme People's Assembly (SPA) and adviser to the C.C., WPK, died of pan-cytopenia to our sorrow at 20:30 on September 3, Juche 107 (2018) at the age of 89.

An obituary of Ju Kyu Chang jointly issued by the Central Committee of the WPK and the Presidium of the SPA of the DPRK was made public on Monday.

It said that Ju Kyu Chang was a revolutionary soldier faithful to President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il, a close revolutionary comrade-in-arms of Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un and an elder revolutionary who made distinguished contribution to the strengthening of the country's defence capabilities. Although he passed away, his exploits for the Party, the revolution, the country and the people will remain long, it added.
