The conservative group's talk about the "theory of principal enemy" can not be construed otherwise than an anachronistic reckless act aimed at blocking the vigorous trend towards national reconciliation and peace and prosperity in the wake of the publication of the historic Panmunjom Declaration.

Now all the compatriots are trembling with anger at the conservative group branding the fellow countrymen in the north as "principal enemy" even now that the north and south join hands to usher in an era of national reconciliation and peace and prosperity.

The conservative group regards the fellow countrymen as "principal enemy" and "primary target to down with", which betrays their nasty intention to prolong their remaining days by bringing the hard-won trend towards reconciliation and cooperation back to confrontation and hostility of the past.

The "theory of principal enemy" is the deep-rooted evil of confrontation with the fellow countrymen.

The chief spokesperson of the "Liberal Korea Party" insisted that "the military threat from the north has never receded and the current government will face a historic judgment for posing a threat to security of its people, clinging to a faint hope".

All the facts clearly prove that the south Korean conservative group is displeased with the Panmunjom Declaration calling for a total halt to all hostile acts and the follow-up steps to proactively implement it and they pose a frontal challenge to the efforts for the declaration.

It is important to abandon the idea of confrontation with the fellow countrymen and take a proper attitude toward other party in order to fundamentally improve inter-Korean relations.

Without abandoning the confrontation idea of taking distrust and hostility towards the fellow countrymen, it is impossible to develop inter-Korean relations.

The conservative clique has historically disguised itself but the despicable nature of the clique regarding confrontation with the fellow countrymen as the mode of its existence never changed and won't in the future, too.

The group of traitors crying out for confrontation with the fellow countrymen unaware of how the world changed remains in south Korea. This is a disgrace to the nation and a tragedy.

The conservative group which sets itself against the national harmony and reunification is the very principal enemy common to the nation which should be buried by the Korean nation as soon as possible.

The conservatives who try to find a way out in stoking confrontation with fellow countrymen and destroying inter-Korean relations should be liquidated at an early date.
