New Coal Deposit Secured

| Pyongyang, September 6 (KCNA) -- The Geological Institute under the State Academy of Sciences of the DPRK secured a new coal deposit in the western area of the country. The institute brought together the information on coal mines and prospecting districts in the area and explained the depth state of coal bed in combination with the results of geophysical exploration, thus providing a firm guarantee for increasing coal production. It is said that there are tens of millions tons of coal deposits in the area. |
