Syrian Party, Government Delegation Here

| Pyongyang, September 7 (KCNA) -- The party and government delegation of the Syrian Arab Republic led by Hilal Al Hilal, deputy regional secretary of the Syria's Baath Arab Socialist Party, arrived here on Friday to participate in events for celebrating the 70th founding anniversary of the DPRK. The delegation was greeted at Pyongyang International Airport by Choe Ryong Hae, member of the Presidium of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, vice-chairman of the State Affairs Commission of the DPRK and vice-chairman of the WPK Central Committee, Ri Il Hwan, department director of the WPK Central Committee, Kim Yong Jae, minister of External Economic Affairs and chairman of the DPRK-Syria Friendship Association, officials concerned, Syrian Ambassador to the DPRK Tammam Sulaiman and his embassy officials. Pyongyang citizens welcomed the delegation, waving bouquets. |
