Chairwoman of Federation Council of Russia Visit Liberation Tower

| Pyongyang, September 8 (KCNA) -- Valentina Matvienko, chairwoman of the Federation Council of Russia, and her party laid a wreath before the Liberation Tower on Saturday. Accompanying them were Sin Hong Chol, vice-minister of Foreign Affairs, Alexandr Matsegora, Russian ambassador to the DPRK, and staff members of his embassy. The wreath was placed at the tower in the name of the Federation Council of Russia. They paid a silent tribute to the memory of fallen soldiers of the Soviet Army in battles for Korea's liberation. |
