Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un Visits Kumsusan Palace of Sun
Pyongyang, September 9 (KCNA) -- Kim Jong Un, chairman of the Workers' Party of Korea, chairman of the State Affairs Commission of the DPRK and supreme commander of the Korean People's Army, visited the Kumsusan Palace of the Sun on Sunday, the 70th founding anniversary of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea.

Accompanying him were Kim Yong Nam, Presidium member of the Political Bureau of the C.C., Workers' Party of Korea and president of the Presidium of the DPRK Supreme People's Assembly; Choe Ryong Hae, Presidium member of the Political Bureau of the C.C., WPK, vice-chairman of the DPRK State Affairs Commission and vice-chairman of the C.C., WPK; Pak Pong Ju, Presidium member of the Political Bureau of the C.C., WPK, vice-chairman of the DPRK State Affairs Commission and premier of the Cabinet; and other senior party and government officials, the chairman of a friendly party, and members of the C.C., WPK, chairmen of the provincial party committees, and officials of power organs, the Cabinet, working people's organizations.

He was also accompanied by members of the armed forces organs.

Supreme Leader of our party, state and army Kim Jong Un entered the hall where the statues of President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il stand.

A floral basket in the name of Kim Jong Un was laid at the statues.

Also placed were a floral basket in the joint name of the Central Committee and the Central Military Commission of the WPK and the State Affairs Commission of the DPRK and a floral basket in the joint name of the Presidium of the Supreme People's Assembly and the Cabinet of the DPRK.

Kim Jong Un paid high tribute to the statues of the great leaders.

Then he entered the hall of immortality where Kim Il Sung lies in state. He paid homage to Kim Il Sung in the humblest reverence for him.
