The president in his message extended his heart-felt greetings to Kim Jong Un on the occasion of the 70th founding anniversary of the DPRK.

He said that he was gladly reminded of the friendly nature of the relations existing between the Russian Federation and the DPRK.

He expressed the conviction that bilateral dialogue and multi-faceted constructive cooperation would further expand thanks to the joint efforts.

This fully complies with the interests of the peoples of the two countries and will contribute to strengthening the stability and security in the Korean peninsula and the Northeast Asian region as a whole, the message said.

It wished Kim Jong Un good health and success and wished all the citizens of the country peace and welfare.
