Chinese Party and Government Delegation Pay Respects to President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il

Pyongyang, September 9 (KCNA) -- The party and government delegation of the People's Republic of China led by Li Zhanshu, member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress of the People's Republic of China, who is a special envoy of Xi Jinping, general secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and president of the PRC, visited the Kumsusan Palace of the Sun Saturday to pay homage to President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il.

Accompanying the delegation were Ri Su Yong, member of the Political Bureau and vice-chairman of the Central Committee of the WPK, Ryu Myong Son, vice-department director of the Central Committee of the WPK, Ri Kil Song, vice-minister of Foreign Affairs, and members of the Chinese embassy here.

A floral basket in the name of the Chinese party and government delegation was put at the statues of Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il.

The guests paid noble tribute to the statues of the great leaders.

At the halls where the great leaders lie in state, they bowed to them.

They looked round the halls where orders the great leaders received are on display and those that house cars, electric car, boat and train coaches used by them for field guidance and foreign tours till the last moments of their lives.

Li Zhanshu wrote in the visitor's book that "Revolutionary spirit will be conveyed long".
