Present there from the DPRK side were Vice-Minister of Foreign Affairs Sin Hong Chol, President of Kim Chaek University of Technology Hong So Hon, who is chairman of the DPRK-Russia friendship parliamentary group, officials concerned, and from the opposite side the party of the chairwoman of the Russian Federation Council and Alexandr Matsegora, Russian ambassador to the DPRK.

Discussed at the talks were the issue of further developing friendly and cooperative ties between the parliaments of the two countries and issues of mutual concern.
