| Pyongyang, September 9 (KCNA) -- Mohamed Ould Abdel Aziz, president of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania, arrived in Pyongyang on Saturday by a plane for his personal use to visit the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) to take part in the events for celebrating the 70th founding anniversary of the DPRK at the invitation of the government of the DPRK. He was warmly greeted by Kim Yong Nam, member of the Presidium of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea and president of the Presidium of the DPRK Supreme People's Assembly. Women workers presented bouquets to Mohamed Ould Abdel Aziz and his wife. He shared greetings with Ri Yong Ho, foreign minister, and Ri Myong San, vice-minister of External Economic Relations. He together with Kim Yong Nam reviewed the guard of honor of the Korean People's Army. Citizens of the capital warmly welcomed the close mission of the Mauritanian people, shaking flags of the two countries and bouquets. |
