Artistes of prestigious art troupes presented the stage of fascinating celebrations through new peculiar creation and portrayal of songs of the people dedicated to the motherland, ode to socialism.

The performers sang high praises of the undying feats on nation-building of President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il, and warm love for the socialist homeland.

Watching the performance were Kim Yong Nam, member of the Presidium of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea and president of the Presidium of the Supreme People's Assembly of the DPRK, Choe Ryong Hae, member of the Presidium of the Political Bureau of the WPK Central Committee, vice-chairman of the State Affairs Commission of the DPRK and vice-chairman of the WPK Central Committee, Pak Pong Ju, member of the Presidium of the Political Bureau of the WPK Central Committee, vice-chairman of the State Affairs Commission of the DPRK and premier of the Cabinet, officials of the party, government and army, the chairperson of a friendly party, delegates to the celebrations of the 70th anniversary of the DPRK, officials of the WPK Central Committee, Cabinet, ministries and national institutions, service personnel, and officials and persons of merit of institutions and industrial establishments in Pyongyang.
