Attending it were Chairman Kim Chil Song and members of the confederation, members of Moscow-Sakhalin Society of Koreans, a vice-chairman of the All-Russia Society of Korean Scientists and members of the Russia-Korea Friendship Association and the Russian Group for Solidarity with the DPRK.

The participants laid bouquets before the portraits of smiling President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il.

Kim Chil Song made a speech followed by other speeches.

The speakers said that it is the greatest one of Kim Il Sung's and Kim Jong Il's immortal exploits that they built the country into an independent sovereign state and demonstrated the dignity and honour of the Korean nation to the world.

They highly praised Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un for his amazing successes in leading the build-up of defence and the economic construction and in bringing about the Panmunjom Declaration and the DPRK-U.S. summit meeting to inspire the whole Korean nation with confidence in victory unfazed by the imperialist allied forces' unprecedented vicious "sanctions" and schemes to isolate and stifle the country.

They said that Koreans in Russia would make an active contribution to the motherland's efforts to build itself into a powerful socialist country.
