Present at the wreath-laying events were officials of local party and power organs and working people's organizations, officers and men of the KPA and the Korean People's Internal Security Forces, working people, school youth and children.

Wreaths in the names of the local party and power organs, working people's organizations, units of the KPA and the KPISF, factories, enterprises and farms, and bouquets and flowers were placed at the statues and cemeteries of martyrs and the memorial towers and the cemeteries of fallen fighters of the KPA.

The participants paid a silent tribute to the memory of the martyrs who had defended the country's freedom and independence, national sovereignty and gains of the revolution and sacrificed themselves for the patriotic cause of building a powerful socialist country.
