Art performances "The Glorious Country" and "Do Prosper, My Motherland" were given in North Phyongan, South Hwanghae and North Hamgyong Provinces.

Put on the stage were colorful numbers including chorus "Song of People's Power", male solo "Thunder over Jong Il Peak" and narration and chorus "We Are the Happiest in the World."

The performers sang the high praises of the patriotic devotion of the great leaders who had built a new genuine country of the people and energetically led the great cause of building a prosperous country till the last moments of their life.

A music and dance performance "The Great Country" was given by the artistes of the South Hamgyong Provincial Art Troupe, working people, youth and schoolchildren in the province at the Hamhung Grand Theater.

A grand chorus and a dancing party "Pyongyang Is the Best" were given by women's union members at Kanggye Plaza.

Similar performances were given by artistes of art troupes, students of conservatories, workers, trade union members, agricultural workers and women's union members at theaters, houses of culture and plazas in other provinces.
