The New Yugoslav Communist Party, the League of the Yugoslavian Communist Youth and the Serbian National Preparatory Committee for Marking the 70th Birthday of the DPRK in the joint statement said that the 70 year-long history of the DPRK is the one of victory and gigantic creation and change in which the people have built a prosperous socialist society under the guidance of the great Workers' Party of Korea.

The statement noted that thanks to the wise leadership of President Kim Il Sung, the DPRK turned into a socialist state centered on the popular masses free from exploitation and oppression.

It said that the dignity and invincible might of the DPRK and all the achievements in the revolution and construction are inseparable from the feats of the great leaders President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il.

We hope the Korean people will more dynamically demonstrate the might of the country vigorously advancing towards the rosy future, closely united around Comrade Kim Jong Un, the statement said.
