The Committee issued a press release revealing the fact that the joint project of re-linking the railway lines between the north and the south of Korea was suspended by the "UN Command's" disapproval.

It argued that the project, designed to ensure free travel in Korea, must be subject to inter-Korean agreement, not to interference by any third party.

It demanded an immediate halt to the U.S. attempts at laying a stumbling block in the way of the railway project, stressing that it is part of the measure to re-connect the severed blood vessels of the Korean nation.
