The president and his party were seen off at Pyongyang International Airport by Kim Yong Nam, member of the Presidium of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea and president of the Presidium of the Supreme People's Assembly of the DPRK; Ri Yong Ho, foreign minister; Ri Myong San, vice-minister of External Economic Relations; and Bal Mohamed El Habib, Mauritanian ambassador to the DPRK.
